This happened to me the other night. A dear friend and I were talking about our kids and how to help them transition from children to adults. The topic of dating and relationships came up and we started talking about my story. It somehow validates my belief that some of the teachings I grew up with were very wrong. Fear of loving and losing. Fear of making the wrong choice. Fear of getting hurt.
I would first like to say that we are all born with the ability to tap into our intuition. It is a gift that we have been using in our everyday life since the beginning of humankind. In ancient times, we used it for survival. However, in today’s day and age, we have seemingly lost our ability to tap into our intuitive nature as easily as we used to. Now, most of us dismiss our gut feelings as paranoia or overthinking.

All it takes is letting go and trusting your inner voice. During a session a client commented that when reviewing her past mistakes in life she was able to identify a pattern of ignoring her intuition.
